Korea Tamil Nanbargal (KTN)

Korea Tamil Nanbargal (KTN) was the first Tamil organization to be formed in Korea in 2003, with the goal of uniting Tamils living in the country and meeting their fundamental needs. The essential needs of the people who live here, the basic needs of immigrants to Korea, the sharing of ideas, the practicalities of life, Tamil-Korean linguistic communication, cultural communication, truth and honesty continue to function excellently today. Founded in 2003 by a group of friends, the organization has grown over the past 17 years to become the largest tree in the Korea today.

For the past 17 years, Korea Tamil Nanbargal (KTN) has been a prominent force for Tamils residing in Korea in every way. The Tamil community here makes up the majority of the Indian community, and the majority of the residents are students at universities and research institutes, as well as postgraduate and doctoral researchers and professors. Friends who work as computer programmers, engineers, and other professionals reside here with their families and children.

The main goal of Korea Tamil Nanbargal (KTN) is to provide medical funds, which is very important for new immigrant friends. In addition, we continue to pay three times a year the tuition costs of underprivileged students in India, particularly in Tamil Nadu, as well as the basic facilities needs for government institutions in rural regions. The schools of choice are all government schools in various regions within the village. Apart from that, we serve consumables to our siblings in orphanages and nursing homes in Tamil Nadu during various festivals throughout the year. We’ve also been generating donations for the aforementioned extracurricular activities.

Even though our school is a completely free online CBSE school, we follow the same rules as regular schools in India. We have Google Drive based each class and subject attendance management by the class teachers, we also have Class Tests, Quarterly, Half-yearly, and Annual Exams, Report cards, and year completion certification provided to each kid, and we also celebrate Annual Day at the end of every year.

Our honorable valued teachers are the key pillars of our KTN Digital Online School, as without their assistance, this school would not be able to continue for more than two years. We, the founders, and our Indian community, are always glad to celebrate all of our great teachers who teach all of our Indian children in Korea without wanting anything in return and who volunteer their time to provide a good education to all of our Indian children.

Thank you again to all of our teachers, parents, students, and members of the Indian community in South Korea for making this KTN Digital Online School a resounding success and for constantly assisting us in keeping this school running smoothly for many more years. Please contact us at ktndigitalonlineschool@gmail.com if you are interested in teaching CBSE subjects to all of our Indian students in Korea.
