    Hii Archana,
    1. from where can we buy some indian stuff for cooking. rice is a main issue
In korea the Koreans generally use sticky rice, but the rice most Indians prefer is non sticky one , so i suggest you to buy Thai rice which is available on foreign marts which u can find on local markets/ Gmarket (online shoping) or any Indian/ nepali /pakistani resturants. so if you living near by suwon there are many Indian/ nepali resturants near suwon subway station where u can get Indian rice/ vegetables/spieces/fish etc. and if you are living in seoul Itaewon is the best option for you, there you can find Foreign food mart where all things are availabel its very near to the Itaewon subway station. I have given the location map here in the below link
    http://www.onlyitaewon.com/foreign-food-mart.html
    2. which mobile number should i take
If you want new mobile you have to get a post paid connection which are on contract basis (1-2 yr contract) and can get in any nearby mobile shops by showing your alien card and also if you wanna prepaid connection you can get from them by buying second hand phone with every month recharge policy depending on your usage.

    3. which area is the best to live with few indians around
Indians are staying all over the Korea but many peoples together you can find in some areas such as Suwon (yeongtong, due to samsung company) and in several parts of seoul, mainly near soul university many people live since many indian students study there. I suggest you join the FB community Indians in Korea and can locate them well near your place.
    4. which super market is the best to do purchases .
Lotte mart, Emart, Nong Hyup are the common supermarkets you can find in every nook and corner and they provide good quality of things with reasonable price, apart from this the local supermarkets are also good where you can buy things at cheaper rate ( but u need to be little proficient in korean, unless u cant burgain with them) but overall its ok. The online markets like Gmarket, Daum, 11st Street are also cheap places to buy things and are available in English language options too.
    5. are there any india calling cards here.
For calling India you can use Voip calling System such as Jumblo, Voip, and many more, You can create an account on any of them and recharge with your credit card/visa card and can call India in a cheap price via using Internet, apart of this several peoples are also there who can recharge your voip account if you dont have credit/visa card. you can search them by posting in Indians in Korea group on FB.
Apart from this other things are mentioned by Radha in her reply , the Indian online shops are also good places to get all ur requirements.
Hope this things will be Helpful for you.
Enjoy and Have a good tym there....

Hi Archana, I'm also new to korea (came here a couple of months back). I can provide how much ever i know. Lets see if i can be of any help for you.

    1. from where can we buy some indian stuff for cooking. rice is a main issue
    >>>I'm not sure whther you can get Indian rice here or not. But most Indians use Thai rice here. You can go to a place called Iteawon & i heard that a few indian stores are there.
    check here @http://www.indianfoodsguide.com/indian-food-guide/indian-grocery-stores/south-korea/seoul.html

    2. which mobile number should i take
    >>> you can get mobile on contract basis from the SKT/KT/LGU+ vendors. The typical contract will range from an year to 2 yrs. SKT & KT r the biggest network providers here. If you are looking for 4G, you have to go on contract basis. if you are ok just for calling purpose( if 3G is good enough for you) you can get pre-paid connections frm the same vendors.

    3. which area is the best to live with few indians around
    >>> i live in Suwon so not sure of the places in Seoul.

    4. which super market is the best to do purchases
    >>>Home Plus & Lotte are the ones that many usually go to.
for online shopping you can check some indian food items here @http://expatmart.co.kr/index.php/india.html">http://expatmart.co.kr/index.php/india.html
    & for other stuff @http://gcategory.gmarket.co.kr/Listview/Category?GdlcCd=100000020

    5. are there any india calling cards here
you can check here @ http://expatmart.co.kr/index.php/india.html">http://expatmart.co.kr/index.php/india.html
(or) if you are accessibile to wifi, you can go with Skype (subscription) / Nymgo kind of applications where you buy credit and can make calls to other countries
