Dear friends,

I have few questions for obtaining driving license in Korea.

1) I know exam written exam can be attended in English, however is there any training in English? IS there any handbook available to go understand for Korean traffic rules?

2) How many days does it take exactly to get driving license?

3) Is there separate training for auto and gear cars?

Good questions, Seoul Global center issue driving license for foreigner. You can directly call ( 02-2075-4127 ) to SGC for assistance or I will go to SGC someday later and let you know what they have to say on this issue....:)
If you want to know more detail , please follow the below link http://global.seoul.go.kr/ ----> click on "living" and under drop-down menu you can see " Driving"

    Hope this will help.
    Cheers
    MI

    1. You dont need to have training in English, I can take the class and guid for littlebit, so far I heard there was a place where they can teach in English.
    2. Min - 2 weeks (including written exam, practice, and road exam) if somebody is not working at all.
    3. yes there are different training and road exam for auto and gear
