About use of Indian SIM Card in Korea

AMIT BHAT on Tuesday, September 11 2012, 12:33 PM

I want to use Indian SIM Card ( Vodafone ) in Korea. But same is not activated in Korea eventhough its having International Roaming. Have enquired with Vodafone, India and they advised me to use KTF Handset ( WPH - 1211 ) and then only I can avail International roaming. Could anybody guide me on this , I do not want to go for renting of handset. Is there any possibility that I can purchase the respective KTF Model Mobile in 2nd hand market here in Seoul ? . Appreciate your assistance. Thank you, Regards....Amit Bhat , Mobile 010-5064-0977

Yes you can use Indian SIM card in Korea but there are some specific needs for it to work in Korea.
    1. It should be a 3G Card.
    2. It should have international Roaming activated.
    3. It should be used in unlocked 3G Korean handset only.

Yes you can get 2nd hand deals in and around Seoul in Yongsan or any subway market shops. There are some sites like www.cetizen.com and many more who sell 2nd hand cellphones.
